Back in the early 2000s, FOX Sports and GALLEGOS United dropped this gem in the world of sports advertising with a quirky TVC called “Smell”.
This wasn’t just another promo, it became one of the first truly viral ads from the Hispanic market, spreading worldwide long before “viral” was even a marketing buzzword.
Directed by Nicolas Kasakoff and brought to life with razor-sharp creative work (Favio G. Ucedo, Facundo Romero & team), this ad film played with humour and absurdity, turning everyday moments into something unforgettable and authentically fan-centric.
More than just a funny commercial, it earned major recognition, winning awards at festivals like CLIO, FIAP, and El Ojo de Iberoamérica, and helped define how sports media brands connect emotionally with audiences.
